The next day we were once more all at sea. Not that much
happened – it was a lovely lazy day. One highlight was the Jo signed us up for
massages… Well, upon reflection I think she signed herself up for a massage and
me to be beaten up for an hour.
Lovely.
That evening we went to the fancy pants Grill once more,
this time to try the Asian food which was, in my opinion, even better than the
French night (but not as good as the Steak under the Stars)
After dinner we went to the much talked about Crew Show
in the Broadway Theatre which was excellent – the best thing we’ve seen so far.
Loads of different members did things – one waiter is a black belt in Karate
and showed a variety of kicks, tricks and smashed up bricks (or planks of
wood), another is pretty good Elvis impersonator, and a whole host of the
housekeepers are from Indonesia and they performed a funny, Thomson Dream
version of an old Indonesian folk tale about a monkey and his love.
Best of all was Rufino from the Lido bar doing some magic
– very very funny and some of it very very clearly actually magic (no idea how
he did it)
